Site Leader


Job Title:          Site Leader (Troy, MI)

Purpose

To provide the leadership of and assume responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Eutectix Troy, MI facility. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that key operational metrics are met, as well as, coordinating production, maintenance, and safety activities for the site.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To ensure the timely and safe production of all products to meet customer needs within cost budgets and quality requirements to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • To monitor, communicate and react to the monthly performance of the Troy, MI site against plan and provide information to explain and address variances.
  • To oversee, monitor and report on all site activities to ensure all processes and procedures conform to best practice and support the aims of the company.
  • To control and report the financial management of the site operations within the guidelines set by the Director of Operations
  • To support and promote the Quality Management System of Eutectix and contribute to its refinement and development.
  • Ensure key quality objectives and KPIs are being met and leading corrective actions when non conformances occur.
  • To ensure all site activities are undertaken with due regard to the Health and Safety of personnel and equipment and specifically within the guidelines laid down by the company and demanded by law.
  • To comply with all relevant Environmental legislation in respect of materials, emissions, and waste disposal practices at the Troy, MI site.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of Local, State, Federal regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
  • Practical knowledge of routine maintenance requirements – equipment, facilities, etc.
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Degree from an accredited University in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Hygiene preferred (not required).
